hi all! I'm brand new to the forums.I'm running the 10k in this race.2000 runners predicted between the 10 & 5k.who else will I see there????

I'm a new runner, started in December to lose weight. ran 2 5ks in March, im ready for a move up in distance.
my goal for the race is under 1 hour. That being said my mile splits need to stay under 10 min / mile.

amazing race. I had a sore knee uwhen I woke up but it went away by race time. I forgot my watch at home so I ran all on feel. I sat in a great pace all race, finished in 58:05. my goal was sub 1:00:00 and I did it!
