As far as I know, I was the first women out of the water in my wave, but the results aren't showing the swim and t1 times yet. 9:30 was on my watch

nice swim, I prolly saw you on the bike leg on the side of the road, quite a few people with bike probs at the race this weekend, due in part to the crappy roads there, lots of bumps and cracks. What bike do you own? glad you had a good time, what other races do you plan on doing?

I have a black Specialized Transistion. I had on all DFT gear. and every time my chain flipped, i was in the middle of that climb. Figures. I was reading close to 40 mph on my bike comp in the down hill in my aero bars, so that helped to make up some time.

And thanks for the swim comp. I Really wanted to go under 9min, but I think I got a little confused somewere and though I was off course.

Yeah, that lake sucks. only 3-4 feet deep even in the middle of the lake, so vision in the water sucked, could not even see my hand in front of me. What heat were you in? you might have been in my heat. If you plan on doing SM, it will be much better, though the hills will be much worse, ha ha. sorry to hear about your bike, keep at it. check out my race report, good job!!!

I was in the second heat (yellow caps). It wasn't the murky water that threw me, it was the sun in my eyes over the dam. I was going to wear mirrored goggles, then changed my mind. Right before my heat, the sun came up.

I did a 5k at SM on the 13th and I learned the hills first hand. Although, I might as well. I am doing the KC Corp Challenge Tri, and it is the same course as SM on June 11th. Our Team has some comped entries, so you can expect to see me there.

I was also in that heat, bright yellow caps. ha ha, probably saw you.

I will be at Topeka Tinman on the 17th of June, and then SM on July 9th, then Pigman 1/2 in August.

Duh! Actually, I get to do it twice... the KC Corp Challenge on 6/11 is the same course as the sprint at SM... i guess that could be my "warm up race"
