Swim
Comments: Once I got calm and in a groove I was able to swim freestyle more comfortably. What would you do differently?: I need to calm down earlier. Do less breast stroke sighting. Transition 1
Bike
Comments: Sugary drinks dont agree with me and I should have not used them to start on the bike this mistake carried over into the run. A road bike with aero bars gets you so far. My lower back was locking up and I had to stretch alot after about 40 mi in aero. What would you do differently?: Get a tri bike and shoes. Use only water on the bike and base nutrition on semi-solids. Transition 2
Comments: I went to the porata potty, there was a line that added to my delay. I am glad I re-applied glide at this point. Run
Comments: I had too much sugar on the bike and started the run feeling ill. I felt better the more I ran and drank only water and took salt. What would you do differently?: Do more brick training and long runs. Post race
