Pre-race routine:

woke up - ate two bananas and glass of water. drove to race site
Event warmup:

walked/jogged from where I parked the car to registration pavilion about 5 minutes

Comments:

a nice run - scenic, a little crowded at the start, but thins out as you go. perfect weather. 3 drinking stations.
What would you do differently?:

1) remove my stretch fleece pants and run in shorts, but it was cold waiting for race to start
2) take a leak before running
3) pace myself better - ran out of steam towards the end

Warm down:

drank water and a root beer and drove home

What limited your ability to perform faster:

probably could have gone faster if I had paced myself better
