Too bad for garmin. They must be having some major issues getting this thing to market. I'm becoming all too familiar with the problems that arise with the development of new products as well unfortunately.

I used to bump this thread about every 6 months. http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/forums/thread-view.asp... hope the technology evolves into a reality but for people who are still waiting for this device would have been a lot better off getting something else. (Im glad I didn't wait). Love my powertap.

Although I really like the idea of the pedal based PM, the price put me off early on.  Wonder if some Execs at Garmin are now thinking they got sold a boatload of BS about how close Metrigear really were.

If the Look/Polar would link up with other head units they could miles ahead of Garmin before their's is even at the production level.  Plus it would help if they would lower their prices a bit...

I remember seeing the buzz about these many moons ago, hoping that they would be in a format (like SPD) that I could move between my MTB and road bike.  After seeing now that they're Keo (and vaporware!) I guess I won't need to save my pennies.
