Pre-race routine:

Yogurt at home before leaving.
Bagel and granola bar 1 hour before start.
Gel 15-30 minutes before start.
Setup transition and head down to the pool. Set out a couple clothing options for myself depending on what conditions were when I hit T1.

Comments:

Was around #100 in the pool (seeded around 50). Passed maybe 5-6 people during the swim. Didn't get passed once. Arms got fatigued near the end, but otherwise didn't feel bad. A little bit of a run included in the swim. Went 6:24 last year.
What would you do differently?:

Definitely behind on swim training.

I dawdled a bit.. Had to put one sock on twice, and shirt got stuck on my wet skin. Gloves weren't easy either. I wasn't in a big hurry anyway.
What would you do differently?:

Move faster. Weather permitting I could have skipped the socks, 1 shirt, and the gloves. Even with the socks my feet froze.

My run must have really sucked, because my bike rank was a bit ahead of my overall rank. Average seems low for as hard as I was pushing, but last year my time for the what I think was the exact same course was 42:18.

Took a little time in T2, but not too bad. Could have been a little quick. I think I may have even stopped for a few seconds just to think before taking off.

Bleh. Got a bad side stitch a little before the turn around. Walked twice to try to let it calm down and then just ran with it. Finished and realized I could have ran faster, not sure why I didn't. Last years time was 25:12, reminding again how horribly out of shape I am right now.
