I have posted excerpts to the blog, then linked back to BT so my readers could read the rest of the story. Feel free to check out the layout @ www.ironmanorbust.com (and don't forget to "like" the facebook page while you are there) If you have any questions, or want anything changed, please email me and I will do it. Thanks again...I really appreciate your help. Nice work, Skrat! (I know your name. But those I love the most around here tend to get nicknames). Gotta hand it to you. For one thing, it's a great blog. (Could use a little spell-check, but if that's my foremost criticism, you are doing AWESOME.) For another, compiling our stories, and having Ironman stories on your blog, is a great way to drive readership there, promote your blog, and most of all, promote your most worthy charity. Thank YOU. Thanks for the positive feedback. I also made sure to link back to the BT website...for the rest of the stories - as I like this site, and wanted to give props here for the content. Now I am going to have to go spell check everything...I usually catch spelling mistakes right away, because I use Chrome, and it spell checks as you write. Were they spelling errors, or grammatical errors. I type fast, and even though I know the difference between your and you're - I make that mistake a lot. LOL Overall style errors in every category, sorry to say. Again, they're not so obvious as to disrupt the site, so honestly I wouldn't stress about it. For spelling, off the top of my head, #4 in your blog goal, "thru," and then in the Ironman stories, "Ironman Wisonsin." |

Sounds like I could use a good editor. When you say "style" errors - are you referring to punctuation, grammar, spelling or something else. Thanks for pointing out the 2...I have already corrected them... |

You can figure out a way that's easiest for me to identify the errors to you and/or correct them, and that's optimally congruent with how you want to implement them. |

Muskrat37 - 2012-04-25 6:37 PM 1stTimeTri - 2012-04-24 6:26 PM There are many Race Reports that can be looked up, and it would be great to have some peeps respond and provide theirs. Here's mine, and I had a cameo in Scooby's vid, too. No link - where is your story? Thanks for sharing. Being old, was a long day, and indulging a couple of Beam and Cokes at the time made one forgetful. |

Master 3205 ann arbor, michigan | Subject: RE: Stories of 1st Ironman Distance Tri. Fred D's IM Wisconsin Report from last year is almost a must read. Not a first time IM story, but an epic story of perseverance when things were not going well. It was a sobering and educational read for a guy who was in the final stages of training for his (my) first IM. Here is my first IM report: http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/forums/thread-view.asp... It may not say in there how long I prepped (this was one of your original questions). I found out, like all the other lottery winners, on April 15 and raced on October 9. Edited by wannabefaster 2012-04-29 7:23 PM |

Regular 156 | Subject: RE: Stories of 1st Ironman Distance Tri. Without a doubt one of the greatest days of my life. The realization of a dream and culmination of months of hard work and sacrifice. Epic. I am so thankful to God that it all came together (my wife was instrumental as well). Now if I could just find motivation to train! |
