Master 1890 Gig Harbor | Subject: Stories of 1st Ironman Distance Tri. Hi all, I am looking for stories of your first Ironman. Whether they are good or bad, or you finished or not. What did you go through? - did you stick to your training? How long was your ramp up to the IM? What was your biggest surprise of the day? These stories are for other wanna be first time Ironmen and women to read and gain insight from. I am adding a "Stories" page to my blog, and would like to post these stories there. If you have a blog or other website and want a link back to your blog - I will gladly place the link in the story. You can check out the blog @ www.ironmanorbust.com. Please PM me if you have any questions. |

For one thing, it's a great blog. (Could use a little spell-check, but if that's my foremost criticism, you are doing AWESOME.) For another, compiling our stories, and having Ironman stories on your blog, is a great way to drive readership there, promote your blog, and most of all, promote your most worthy charity. Thank YOU. |

Thanks for the positive feedback. I also made sure to link back to the BT website...for the rest of the stories - as I like this site, and wanted to give props here for the content. Now I am going to have to go spell check everything...I usually catch spelling mistakes right away, because I use Chrome, and it spell checks as you write. Were they spelling errors, or grammatical errors. I type fast, and even though I know the difference between your and you're - I make that mistake a lot. LOL |
