Good morning!

4:15am:  5 mile run 
5:15am: Insanity Cardio Abs

I'm hoping to break out the mountain bike after school today, would love to get out on some desert trails.

2500 meters of swimming here. Mostly distance stuff, a few sprints just to make sure I still have some fast-twitch fibers. No snow here. But a spectacular early monsoon rainstorm blew just as I was finishing up swimming, cooled things off (relatively speaking), and amazing lightning show for hours afterwards.

I love those! Haven't done one in forever. Have a blast and thanks for doing it.

Second day in a row doing something. Anything. Just have to. 11 minute run and 15 minute trainer dawdling. Good cadence, though.

Yup ... the lightning shows fascinate me too, though I'm not such a big rain fan. Little rain, yes.

I haven't been able to run ...due to a foot injury. It's been going on two months, now.

So, still have been weight lifting, and riding. A 20 miler ride is planned for today, if I can manage.

as an aside, i marvel at anyone who is up running at 4:15am. that is just wow!

Greetings!  Recovery week continues!  42 minutes on the trainer this morning, focused on endurance miles.  Going to run 5.6 easy paced miles after work followed by a ~1600 yard swim.  Seeing that it's recovery week, I might push that swim to tomorrow, hehe!  =)

Ran sprint intervals this morning.  Whoo-ahh!  Haven't done those in a looonnng time.  Painful (not injury painful, just unpleasant by the end - but such pleasant memories now).

Swam at lunch (main set was pull and kick drills - same as a workout last week with some improvement, so that feels good).

Got my morning run in before the cold rain came. Yay!

My little C25K plan had me run 8 minutes, walk 5 minutes, run 8 today. Friday I run 20 straight. Getting really excited to reach the actual 5K (or at least 30 minute) mark! Laughing

Legs in the gym....have to work on the leg strength, I think its why I am a slow runner.    1.2 Mile OWS....very pleased with my swimming progress.  Trying to run tomorrow, IT band issues causing me some pain.
