Good morning BTers!

4:15am:  80 mins/23 miles on the KK.

One of these days White Lightnin' is coming of the trainer and we'll hit the road--but I'm thinking it won't be until school is out.  5 weeks...!

Happy almost Friday! I swam 1200 meters in the morning, spent 30 minutes on the bike at lunch, and then spent another hour with each child on the bike. Fun, fun, fun.

Actually I did nothing either. My run got rained out and I didn't want to do a 75 minute fartlek run at night when I can't really see, with a lot of standing water, nor did the treadmill sound good.  I swam yesterday, hadn't brought my suit, and didn't want to do a hard bike workout (indoors) if running tomorrow AM. Monsoon has started and it's making me sleepy. Just lazy today, really!  Going to bed early and hitting the road early AM. Don't have to teach tomorrow so I can "recover" at work a bit.

Off to the pool at lunch for me today, still a bit sore from yesterdays run but it was a good strong effort 25  SPM below normal pace over the 10K, now if I can only make some headway in the pool, swim progress is comming but its just painfull slow, I am  feeling improvment in both stroke and endurance just not as fast as I would like too. Oh well at least I don't feel like I am getting nowhere.

2500m swim for charity at 6am this morning (late start!).  Nice to get a workout in as always, good fun with some people from work, and all for a good cause!  Plus we managed to raise a pretty nice amount for people with disabilities.

6K run this evening before a farewell party for a close colleague.

0500, 2000 trouble free yards in the pool, seems like the meclizine did the trick for me.

Easy 50 minute bike scheduled for this afternoon.

On this fine schmerzday, I biked for about 45 minutes this morning with a main set of some 1-leg drills.  First time I've done those on the road (as opposed to trainer).  I have some work to do on my technique.

Nor an orange.   One hour on the trainer leisurely based or if the clouds hold will do one hour outside on the beach cruiser.        Forecast is for a swim this afternoon.     The next three days are the last three days of serious training.   Friday will do a 1.1 mile swim.  Saturday will do a 25 mile bike ride and Sunday will do a 10K run.  All these will be  at near race pace.      Dat da Zen plan.   Then taper to the point of rest  for the five days leading up to the race.

Greetings!  I swapped out yesterday's run with today's swim, hehe!  Sooo, I'm gonna run 5.6 miles after work today.  Good thing I did that too cuz I feel so much better today (been feeling a bit unrested lately >.<.

All I got is Thirsty Thursday. After 7 hours of wandering around Busch Gardens, I was indeed thirsty. And that is the extent of my exercise for the day.

Draaaagged myself out of bed early to get in a quick 2 mile run followed by a good 1450m swim. Longest swim yet for me and I was able to hold my 1:42/100m pace even!! Then it was off to work to start a 48 plus hour shift!!!

Went for a 4 mile run today but my real workout was playing with my 2 1/2 year old Grandson who showed up at 4AM this morning (With our Daughter-in-law).
