Veteran 254 Central France | Subject: RE: tri shorts and weiners already laughed once at this thread and had another good laugh reading what's been posted since my 1st post. Looked at this thread again because just did my 2nd tri today and while I was starting to feel self conscious about my butt crack showing through my tri shorts, I met these these two guys in their very worn tri suits. One had a big hole in the butt (of his tri suit) and the other had panty lines from his swimsuit underneath! Granted, half his tri suit was white are VERY, VERY see through. As a girl, I found the panty lines quite funny and totally forgot my own modesty. |

Champion 19812 MA | Subject: RE: tri shorts and weiners Worry more about your backside than front side. I have seen many cracks thru worn out or awful light colored tri shorts both on men and women. Racing you only pass from behind and on your bike your bum is out there for everyone to see. Seriously if you have old tri shorts or new ones ask your significant other or spouse to check out if your crack shows in your tri shorts when positioned like you would be on a bike and even better if they are wet. DeSoto puts light liners as a second layer on some of their tri shorts that helps with crack issues. I debate when I see some ones crack would they like to know or is ignorance is bliss. I've decided strangers ignorance wins and friends I tell them later. |

I've decided strangers ignorance wins and friends I tell them later. I agree with the light colored shorts issues. This morning at St. A's, I was passed by a young lady in a light blue tri-suit. On her right butt cheek was a very visible tattoo of an owl. The rest of the way back to T2, all I could think about was "how many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?" |

That post alone deserves its own thread! |

Veteran 494 Berkley | Subject: RE: tri shorts and weiners I've been thinking about asking this topic for a while, not specifically about what things look like, but what happens while riding. I am just going to come out and say it, we are all adults here.... right? During my ride I need to "adjust" myself every hour or so, my scrotum get pulled between my thighs like an old fashion laundry roller (for lack of better words). So I adjust by rescuing it from the Thigh Rollers. Anyone else have this issue, or have suggestions? |

If you are squeezing too much booty into them (ladies...), they will stretch across and there is only so much spandex to go around. Saw one of these situations this weekend at a marathon. |

Ok, now that I've got that out of the way... as a girl I haven't noticed a guys junk at ALL while racing (pace booty is an entirely different subject and I thank each and every one of you that gives me pace booty to follow). Hell, you could be hung like Ron Jeremy and I wouldn't notice until after the race. I'm so glad I don't know what that means you mean your wife and/or kids don't know that you know what that means |

Doesn't help with the modesty issue 'but' it makes the ride more comfortable. |

Regular 62 | Subject: RE: tri shorts and weiners Wow, 4 pages and not one serious answer. The interweb has yet to let me down I've been dealing with similar "issues" if you can call it that lately, and have gone to wearing a speedo underneath my tri-shorts. Not only does it make your podium pics more family friendly, it also helps to keep the General and his men locked in place throughout the day. No chafing yet but I will report back if it happens. Nothing worse than wienie chaffage!!! |

New user 13 | Subject: RE: tri shorts and weiners PI PRO series shorts: The pad is cut low, a lot lower than normal tri or cycling shorts. I own 3 pairs of these shorts. Yep they are thin, the pad is low, and once you use them you will love them. These are my go to shorts, I have many shorts some over $120. Freaking love these PI pro series shorts.
The pad being cut lower in the front is why your twig sticks out a bit more. |

I'm sorry. But remember it's not the size of the ship it's the motion of the ocean. But how long does it take to get to england in a row boat? |

Veteran 145 Gahanna, OH | Subject: RE: tri shorts and weiners I have a pair of black Pearl Izumi trishorts that seem to reveal more of the details down below. I prefer the Desoto Forza trishorts, as they just keep it to a bulge and provide a lot more support and comfort. If it's bothering you enough to post, then I would suggest going with something different. |
