Subject: West point Olympic
Did the race today. Course was great. I loved the TT swim start, bike was not too hilly, and the run was very flat. Overall time was 2:43 or so (times haven't posted yet). On a side note, the shirt says I rode 40 miles...

Times are up on website. Swim - 26:14T1 - 3:09Bike - 1:17:28T2 - 1:50Run - 48:17Total - 2:36:56Felt Retry good for my first Olympic. Need to work on my transition times. Any tips?

yes!

t1 - wear a trisuit if not already, hit the ground running from swim exit, no socks, practice in and out of wetsuit, snapping helmet and running with bike

t2  run with bike to spot. grab the race belt snapped and put it on as you run. same with hat. use sockless running shoes.

nice meeting you too bro.  I did okay for the first of the year. swim felt really slow. but then it was only my 5th tim in open water.

1:29:50    

2nd in clyde class about 1:20 behind first.   if I entered age group then it would have been less than a second makes me think i'm about done being a clyde. time to really drop some weight.

how did you fair.
