Comments: Felt real good going into mile 10. Started bringing up the pace. Skipped a few of my 30 sec. walk breaks. I think I should have waited until about mile 11 to bring up the pace. Right at the end I used a walk break and regained my composure and kicked it in real well. Probabaly the best I have felt at the end of the a race in terms of able to finish well. As for time it wasn't my best but it is where I am at right now. What would you do differently?: As I said above get a better position before the start, stay patient until about mile 11. Post race
Warm down: Stretched out some, ice pack on the knee right after the race.. Knee was very sore. What limited your ability to perform faster: Ability to train more. Lack interval training and speed work. Last updated: 2012-04-29 12:00 AM

Got up about 4 am and couldn't sleep. Ended up getting a bagel and cream cheese from the lady downsatairs before the breakfast opened. Very nice of her to do this. I didn't ahve anything else to eat, but had a Plan B just in case.
