1st timer 70.3 here.

Me too .......

Bib number 397 (3 + 9 + 7 = 19 = 1 + 9 = 10 = 1 + 0 = 1 ........ for all those numerology folks out there like my wife ..... ....)

Just talked to my wife about that ........ she says my personal number is "1" also, and being an Aries which is the first sign this just makes perfect sense. She also said this confirms I'm supposed to do this race.

Bib number 1246: 1 +2 + 4 +6 = 13 = 1 + 3 = 4.

Hell, I wouldn't mind being 4th. Oh wait, in my world the number 4 is equal to um ... KICKING AZZ (or something like that).

so now I can just worry about getting a number when I get there. But for those of you cheering from home you can cheer for Heidi Hogan if it goes live on ironmanlive.com.

I really had a hard time yesterday on the bike. I think it was a combo of a tough swim for me and the wind. I wanted to be around 18mph but averaged 16.5 instead. People were flying by me on their bikes the entire time. I think the only people I passed had flats or accidents

I'm bumming today.

How'd everyone else do?
