Subject: Fuji D6 1.0

Thinking of investing in a tri bike and the fuji d6 1.0 has sparked my interests.

Has anyone rode this bike, seen this bike or even own this bike here on BT?

What do you think of it?

Cheers guys

My brother in law had the D6 3.0 (or the frame at least... changed out all the components to something different). It's a really nice frame if it fits you. Super stiff and very, very efficient. And to boot, not that common, so you're not going to have another "me-too" bike at your local tri

I have a D6 and absolutely love it. I swapped out the seat for an ISM adamo saddle and was good to go.

I can't really say enough good things about this bike. Super fast, super light.

And it's kind of fun having the bike shop mechanics freak out when I bring it in for a tune up.

Mine is a 2009, which I just got this past fall, after it was sitting in the shop all that time.  So I got a pretty sweet deal on it.  Plus Fuji tends to have "high" MSRPs, then they discount a lot.

I've got maybe a couple hundred miles on it, and 48 hours trainer time this past winter.  Just had a professional fit done, went with a specialized saddle that was a bit wider, and some small movements bringing the seat forward.

Understanding that the engine is the main factor, I had the 5th fastest bike split at my first tri this year, sprint/flat course, about 23 mph.  Since this is only my third year, and first year with a TT bike, there isn't much to compare it to, but so far I'm loving this bike.

I do get compliments on it as well.
