Subject: Charlotte area running coaches
After a disappointing marathon yesterday I think it might be time to hire someone to help me.  Who would you go to?

There are a couple here. http://www.charlotterunningclub.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=site.display&page_id=4250   I know some folks that have worked with Jamey Yon and really improved their running.  I know someone who worked with Megan Hovis and really liked her.  I hear Mark Hadley is good.  I could only find his blog: http://maximumperformancerunning.blogspot.com/

You could also check out some of the coached running groups out of Omega Sports and Run For Your Life.

Mark Hadley (Goosedog's link to maxperformance) would be a great choice. Very knowledgeable and a sound understanding of training methodology.

And also know for overworking his athletes to the point of injury (and no I am not talking about his daughter).  I am talking "way above-average" easy Boston qualifiers. 

I know a friend who used Kelly Fillnow (pro triathlete) for a marathon plan and is again using her for a HIM plan. He was very happy.  Really can't say I really know of many more.
