Ouch! Sorry about your crash. I wonder which would be more expensive to fix: teeth or carbon.

Ouch, that looks like it really hurts, hope they can get your teeth fixed up again so you don't look like a hockey player.

Corey, you really scared me.

I thought you did something to damage the Soloist.

Holy Cow!  Glad you're ok-enough to post about it and smile in your pic!

Those drainage grates scare the bejeebus out of me!  Esp the ones along Hwy 1 out by Jenner/Bodega Bay... no shoulder to speak of, and heavy heavy traffic!

And, seriously, good thing the bike is ok.  Bodies heal faster than bikes do... well, except for the teeth!

Is your avatar pic from Wildflower this year?

The only thing wrong with the bike is the headset is twisted and flatted my front tire. I go into the dentise on tursday, and the swelling has gone down a lot. and yes the avatar picture is from Wildflower 2006. Thanks for all the "get wells."

I hear teeth grow back quick!

Don't worry, the permanent teeth come in after the baby teeth fall out.

That twisted spine thing sounds OUCHY....when does chiropractic treatment start on that?

OUCH!

Just seeing your teeth made me cringe!

At least you seem OK... and your bike came out in 1 piece.

I hope you heel very soon.

I busted up my grill when I was about your age (tried to eat a football helmet) and they fixed it up... didn't make me any better looking though... glad you're okay!

DUDE! OWWWW! At least you can brag about your crash; and don't we all care more about our bikes than our bodies?

Here's one for you: I had just bought new pedals and shoes and went on a big charity ride. A large group of riders came up to a stop sign, myself included. We expected to be able to just slow down and cross, when a car came FLYING around a turn. I got caught between pedaling and stopping and didn't have time to unclip (the new pedals were tighter than I was used to). I literally fell on my side and remained unable to unclip from the pedals...now I know what a turtle feels like when it's flipped on its back.

Glad you're alright!

brutal. get well soon. a good dentist can fix the teeth.

reminds me of my first tri, i saw a guy wipe out bad (too tight of a turn and bike slipped and he hit a curb). i felt bad for him till i saw him after the race peeling of his bandages saying "check out my awesome road rash!!!"
