I am 42 today and look and feel better than I did when I was 22, heck even when I was 32! BT has been a big part of how great I feel...so thanks for the gift BT! 5:30am: slept in, enjoying peanut butter and honey toast Later today: getting spoiled by my students with all sorts of treats & dinner out with the family. Have a great day, BT...I know I will! |

For a few months, we'll be the same age. 42 is the new 32, or 22, or....whatever! I definitely feel better than when I was 32. Maybe 22. Hope you enjoyed sleeping in and all the treats. Swim day here. 2800m total, including a vicious 1950m ladder: 300, 275, 250....and so on down to 25. I had only an hour to do the workout and it was down to the wire, so swam hard, not much rest. Complete swim animal--started at 1:37/100m and worked down to 1:30 and then all-out sprints. I was going to do a bit on the trainer afterwards, but really, really tired after the swim and still have work to do, so calling it a night. Going to read some kids' writing (5th graders doing "Memoirs"--amazing!) and enjoy new foster kitty. |

Todays plans - a bit uncertain! If it rained <0.2" last night (huge thunderstorm), then the local lake will be E. coli-free and I can do a Splash and Dash (2k swim/5k run) tonight. Otherwise it'll have to be plan B? |

(Love Douglas Adams may he rest in peace) And another Happy Birthday from me too! Today is a maintence swim. I'm swimming 5 days a week and timing my 100s. I just got back to swimming, yesterday way my 3rd day in the pool in 3 weeks and the first after a 6mo. lay off. Right now I'm super slow, but that's why I'm swimming everyday. Later, I'll be doing a short weightlifting session hopefully before work, otherwise I'll have to do it on my dinner break tonight. |
