Subject: Maple Grove Half Marathon
Is anyone signed up for this? I've heard the course has changed some since last year, but wondering if anyone has done it in the past. This is just my second race of this distance and it's part trail run. I'm hoping to just have fun and enjoy the predicted gorgeous weather. If anyone has any thoughts on the race, would be happy to hear! Thanks.

The course change is minimal. I ran it last year and my wife is running it this year (as well as last). Fun race. It is NOT a trail run. A bunch of the race is on a paved bike trail, but I don't count that as a trail run. There's no dirt running or running over rocks or anything like that.It's blacktop or suburban residential roads all the way. It's pretty hilly and lots of zig zagging.

At mile 10.8 there is a relatively steep hill that takes the wind out of a lot people. Here's my Garmin file http://connect.garmin.com/activity/85564145
