I've had a few rides with a used set of H3's.  I did send in the wheels to get checked at HED.  There was some place on the front and they ended up changing/adding new bearings.

There is now no side to side play, but did notice the wheel has a vertical movement.  Its as if one end comes out a bit.  It doesn't rub the fork as I thought, but the little bits off the tire mold rub it.

Is this part of the "wobble" that is part of each individual wheel's characteristic?

A few weeks back, I was descending on a hill pretty fast, and as I was reading a sign saying rough road ahead, I hit a bad part of the pavement really hard.  Have hard the wheels to be pretty bomb proof, so didn't think much of it.

Its the weekend, so going to head over to my LBS to have it looked at, but will be calling HED after the weekend as well.
