What a great day - thanks to the Brown Dogs for putting on such a great event.  We had signs, Gu, tons of food, Chillinator 3000, and the beer was a flowin!  The only thing missing was a heckler (or group of hecklers) at the top of the big hill.  I had a great time, and what a great training day!

Thank you everyone for supporting the 100 Miles to Nowhere!  We had a great day!

Drawing winners were:

Bryan Estes - GU sampler pack (sample of every different kind of GU product)
Bill Haynes - 100 Miles of Nowhere bike bottle (from Fat Cyclist)
Karen Richardson - 100 Miles of Nowhere bike bottle
Katie Pothier - Banjo Brothers bento box (from Fat Cyclist)
Lisa Bennett - Brooks gift certificate for free pair of shoes
Shanna Rome - GU Jet Blackberry shirt

5 folks finished the full 100 mile ride with transition run, and at least 2 did 70 miles plus a run.  2 runners ran the 10 mile loop and lots of people rode more loops on Mountain Park than they thought they could. : )

So far we raised $1,266 for CHOA's AFLAC Children's Cancer Center, so that is awesome.

We met a bunch of fun folks from Roswell and the North Atlanta area!  Scott (who swims next to me on Mondays at LTF), Rubant (who found this thread via the internet), Kate, Jason, Brian, and Chris who came with Dave (fndrsrtat), Mike (foxms1)'s buddy, plus Edin and Phat from Athens.  Great day!

I don't have a Garmin connect file, but I do have the following articles that do not belong to us:

1 square tupperware container and lid with blue handle.
2 metal plates - one is made of foil and the other looks like a pizza pan
1 brown serving spoon
1 plate with travel designs on it

If you left any of these items or any other items, please PM me so that we can arrange for a drop-off or pick-up.

I can go do one of the loops with a powertap and a Garmin 310 if you want.  Are you thinking of riding it or just curious about the difficulty?

btw, the wife's TSS was 450 for the day!

ive got the whole ride on my garmin but i am having stupid uploading problems now that we have 3 garmin 310xts on the same desktop. i am going to get my IT friend over to sort it out asap and will then post it. 450 is insane! I wish I could figure out what mine was.

Really just wanted to see the loop more than anything.  I was planning on coming up but had to be in Birmingham for the weekend.  Ridewithgps/mapmyride works also
