TriPatrick - 2012-05-19 9:07 PM I finished right under 11 hrs. I wanted to improve on my 10:42 from last year, but it was not in the cards today. I saw Jeremy and I think Erwin on the bike. Jeremy must have dropped the hammer on run because when he left the tent I did not see him anymore. I was massacred on the swim, but it was the only thing I improved on. I can not wait to volunteer next yea, because I sure as hell will not be back!!!

awesome time , congrats dude!

Wow, no idea what happened out there today. Got whupped on the swim, had a good bike keeping watts really really low, but once I got to the run I stunk up the joint. In other news I successfully made it the DFW airport in Dallas and now await my 5 am flight to get back in time for my daughter's communion. The drive was a lot easier than expected, only had to stop twice to stretch. Thanks for watching us today.Socks, it was a pleasure meeting you this morning. Sorry about your day

Such a rough day out there yesterday.  I volunteered at aid station #4 from roughly 2:00 pm until the last runner came through.  I looked for BT folks but it was a frenzy of pouring, icing, stocking to keep up with the demands.  So HOT out there!!!!

Congratulations to all who toed the line yesterday, no matter the outcome.  I hope you all are enjoying a well deserved recovery day!!

You were at Run Station 4?  My wife and I were doing the sponges from about 5-11:30 at that station.

Great job out there everyone! I had fun cheering. Found a few BT'ers out there. I was the guy in the "Hawaiian" outfit on the waterway.

I have to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to our friend Scott who went out there yesterday, and at Mile 15 or so got bit by a copperhead snake and STILL finished the race!  He is a true bad a@@ to me, and I just wanted to show him some love from our family for being a true champion!!

You high fived me on my last lap and told me the finish was worth it. It was about 9:15 I finished at 10:00:27. You were right!! I finished in 15:00:27. Thrilled I worked through some GI issues and kept moving forward. THANK YOU!!!

I really enjoyed getting to see some of you guys. I'm sorry I missed most of you though. Thank you for the support - I'm so flattered and honored to know you. It was a hard day for everyone - the swim was crowded, there was a fair number of wrecks and flats, and the run in the heat was tough. Socks, I'm sorry your day did not end the way you wanted it too, but I'm truly glad it wasn't with a trip to the hospital like so many others. I look forward to reading everyone's race report - you guys are truly amazing. It still isn't real for me yet - but I see you guys as really awesome.
