Race was well organized, but very hot, I think it was 85F when I finished.  Was way to friggin warm.  Saw alot of people walking.  Had tons of fluids on the course.  After party was really good.  They had lots of volunteers and community support.

The cons, The only thing they couldnt control the temp, and in that heat, the long straight stretch they had down hotchkiss (several miles) with no trees sucked.  Fresh asphalt and no shade.

I'd do it again for sure, but I'm gonna stick to halfs, my body is not made to run that long.

I'm ashamed I didn't know about this event as I grew up in the area. My "spring marathons to do" list is getting longer and longer.
