This is the second time using this new bike on this course. Stuck mostly with the middle gears occasionally dropping down.
Light cramp in right calf, stretched it out as best I could.
Tried to do a flying dismount off bike. Hit my right foot whcih was still clipped in. Took a quick fall but got right up. One of the volunteers said i was about the 20th person to do that today. I hope she was not jsut being nice.

Warm down:

Walekd it off hung out with the gang and ate pizza

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I oput on about 20 lbs from last year. I need to lose that weight again and get in more road time. (Yeah I say that every year.)

Event comments:

I love this race, this si the fourth time I did it. I got to see Queen Zipp podium (first time very for her) we also had Three physcuially challanged athletes compete. One woman lost a let to cancer 21 months ago and two men that were parapalegics. one was 14 the other was around 20-25.
All three finished and did a great job. The announcer made shure that everyone knew when they were coming it and they all got hugre rounds of applause. Beat race for first timers.
