I love this ride. There are a lot of hills and it is a very challenging course, but that it what makes it fun. Rode with 4-5 bike buddies and we had a good time. Helped each other out and keep each other motivated. My legs were very strong today so I really pushed it and felt great. Did this ride last year and improved my pace from 15.4 to 16.8, so I am very happy with that. That is with a strong headwind on the way out too.

They had some good bbq and some great beer. That is the real reason I do this ride! :)


The course has stayed the same, but they have really improved the after party. They added a lot more shade for people to sit under, but this year we brought our own canopy and it worked out great. BSS really listened to the complaints from last year and improved the whole experience. Great race that I will continue to do.
