Pre-race routine:

got up two hours before race start, took a shower to wake up, had a bagel w/ peanut butter, had my constitutional, and rode the elevator down to the race.

Comments:

I had a BAD swim start. My HR was jacked sky high and my breathing was very erratic and rapid. With the time trial start there wasn't really a good reason for this. I can only think that my adrenaline was very high. It was almost 200m before I was able to settle down enough to switch from breast stroke to frestyle.

Actually do my weekly swim workouts.
