  • 1094 yards
  • 03m 15s / 100 yards
Comments:

Water temp was perfect. Number of swimmers per wave was good.
What would you do differently?:

Need more open water swim practice. Felt claustrophobic in the water because I couldn't see the bottom.
Transition 1
  • 00m
Comments:

Wasn't sure where bike was when I got out of the lake. Went out of the transition area the wrong way. Had to turn around and go out the right way.
What would you do differently?:

Make sure I know where my bike is, maybe get a balloon to make it easier to spot. Familiarize myself with the in and out transitions.

This was my first triathlon. I was happy that I finished. I need to work on my swimming.

Congrats on the first triathlon. You hooked yet?

Good bike and strong run. Once you get the hang of tranisitions you will put up some amazing times. Good luck at your next race.

Congratulations on your first tri.  Welcome to the sport.  If you live in the Phoenix area, there are a number of tri clubs that do open water swims.

Thanks....

It was a fun race...

I'm doing my second sprint tri on July 2, this time in a pool. Hope to have better times. I know my transitions were slow, but I learned so much this time. I can only improve from here.

Keep on trainin'....
