Good luck this weekend! When you pass a 6'6" bohemoth of a man on either the bike or run, say hi to me. Should be a little warm, but not too bad.

I'm doing this as a relay with my hubby and daughter.   I drew the short straw and have the swim portion - which should be interesting since I've been in open water swimming environment once - and only for about 15 minutes.   I signed up for the novice swimmer category so will be in the last wave.  Should be interesting!!

I am planning to go in order to WATCH (and cheer workoutbunny !) ! I just decided to do this crazy sport two weeks ago so I can't jump in yet.

Is there a BT group going ? Meeting where ?

Zev,

Not sure if you will get this in time - but you can park at Cherry Creek High School and walk into the park - The tri starts down by the marina.  As far as the best viewing place - I have no idea :-)  Never done a tri at Cherry Creek before.  I'll be there with my husband Jay - Who is about 6 feet tall - skinny - with black short hair, and my daughter (who is 17) very tan, about 5'4" and thin.  I'm 5' 4" and have brown hair, and since my hair is wild and probably will be out of control after the swim, I will most likely have on a blue Colfax marathon hat to hold my hair at bay - I will for sure have on tan shorts and a pink sleeveless shirt after my portion of the swim (as soon as I can get out of my wet swimsuit - I hate being cold).    During the swim, I'll have on an ironman wetsuit and a silver cap - and will be in the last wave to enter the water.

Hopefully, we will get to meet.

Carrie

Congrats to Carrie (workoutbunny), her family, numberswoman and any other BT'ers that participated !!

Watching this race gives me more motivation to get in there and mix it up !

Tri the Creek looked like lots of fun. The atmosphere seemed much more fun and less competitive than I expected with all the swimmers clapping for each other as they entered the water and people cheering everywhere.
