Run
Comments: I went into this race with pain in my knees. I told Sarah and Trevor to run ahead and I was just going to do whatever I could. So they took off. I ran my race. Last year I missed out on a lot because I just kept my head down. This year I made sure to look around and enjoy everything. I was able to run non stop until 21.5 miles when I caught Trevor (walking). I decided that I would run or walk with him to the end. He looked like he was having a rough time and it was my turn to help him finish a Chicago Marathon. And we did. Together. It was awesome! What would you do differently?: Nothing. Post race
Warm down: Sat down and preceeded to throw up for the next 5 hours. It was miserable, but I am happy that I didn't feel that way during the race. Finally able to get some food down and felt better. What limited your ability to perform faster: Training. Knees. Last updated: 2010-10-12 12:00 AM

Got up early. Walked to starting line. Chatted and stretched a bit.
