I'm pumped there's a local race tho, NO is fun, but the ridding in St. Franny/New Roads is a lot better than the NO70.3 route. Good to see there's another local doing Austin. Right now there's a group of 4 of us from BR signed up, 2 of which are going for their first HIM. We'll keep in touch and maybe hook up for some training. |

I live in the Bayou Paul area so you are out their riding keep an eye out for a white on black Seduza as I mainly ride there (although for Austin I am going to have to hit St. Franny a couple of times as that course is not exactly flat). |

According to email, registration opens June 18th. They do have a relay option so I may look for a relay team to join. With Austin on Oct 28th and big cajun the week before I probably won't be ready to do a complete HIM. Anyone want to do the run portion? May also just decide to volunteer. |

Haven't heard anything from the race organizers since the announcement of the run course. Anyone else a bit worried that this race is not filling up enough? |

I don't see this race filling up, so I imagine there will be a lot of last minute registrants. Too bad about Austin, that's life though. I'd love to do River Roux relay, but it's my daughter's 1st birthday, don't think I can get out of that one, haha, again, that's life. Heading up to Shreveport this weekend for River Cities, looking forward to a fun weekend! |

Ive raced the sprint races at New Roads before and enjoy the venue. Should be interesting doing a HIM there..rather excited but nervous at the same time.. Cheers Dawn |
