The Bike route has been finalized

From T1 you will bike out from the east entrance onto Churchville near Brandens (Old Tastee Freeze) Go left on 250 toward Churchville. From there go out to Franks Mill rd and make a right. Follow Fanks Mill up to the turn around at the intersection with Middle River rd.

Ride back the same way.

250 is fairly straight light rollers with some tree cover. Franks MIll is twisty and hilly. I am goning to ride it on my bike some time this week.

I guess we will be riding with the people going to and from church on the day of the event.  I hope traffic is light as there is not much shoulder on 250.  I am really happy that the Y is putting on this event, it will be a nice addition to the Tri races in Virginia.

When are you planning on riding it this week?

Bummer, I was looking forward to bombing down the hill to the river before Churchville and the flat section after that hill.  At least we won't have to climb back up.

I have tried to get to the quarry for a swim (Bath county is coming up) and the weather gods are conspiring against me.
