looks like the Harwel dam race and Richard B. Russell are both @ $70 entry fee.  The Eleven race in Greensboro is $150 late registration.  I've done RbR and it was aewsome.  Is the Eleven that much more awesome?  thanks guys and gals.

I have raced Russell many times.  I raced Global last year, and will be racing the Olympic again this year.  Frankly I am left scratching my head as to why Global's prices are always so high.  It is a decent race, but when you price a race (local sprint or olympic) over $100, it should be very, very nice.  I have said this before... Georgia racing is getting heating up with many choices for athletes now.  The race production companies who come out on top will be the ones who price right, have nice venues, and treat the athletes right.  Period.  I am excited about the competition.

$150 is too much.  There will have to be some major post race entertainment, food, beer, etc. for me to spring $150 on an Oly.

Early registration on the Macon 70.3 was $139 + USAT.

Agreed, $150 is too much for an oly. I was looking at that race, but decidd not. There are too many races under $100 out there to pay that much.
