Comments: Started out really good, hip and knee started hurting at the 163 and I could tell I was getting blisters on my right foot. Met missi at mile 14 and was so happy to see her! Could have been better about eating more, especially salt. Did salt packets and that helped. mile 18 the blisters were really bad. Stopped at medical and they couldn't do much. Walked about 50 feet and had to pop them. Some relief but they formed back up around mile 21. By that time my quads were done, I think from the downhill on freeway and from limping from the blisters. But I finished!! What would you do differently?: find some cures for these blisters. Used toe socks and body glide and I still got them Post race

Eat bagel with eggs, went to sports arena to catch shuttle with kar. Gear check, had a banana and used the restroom. Got in my corral with shannon and we were off!
