Subject: Aiming to stay active post-College

Hey all!

I'm completely new to the website, and I found it while looking for possible training plans. I recently graduated for college and am looking for ways to stay active and training for and competing in a triathlon. I'm not quite sure where to start. The few training plans I've looked at talked about establishing a baseline. I'd put my current fitness as somewhat low. I am fit enough that I could probably run a 5k (slowly) but I havent run in a few months. So I'd like to know where people think I should start. I think my aim is to complete a sprint triathlon. I'm very excited to see if I have it in me!

Hi, welcome to BT and triathlon, and congrats on graduating!

If you click on BEGINNERS underneath the PROGRAMS tab top left, it is an excellent starting point (especially the first article) for all things beginning tri.

The beginner's sprint training programs are a good place to start too; they can always be modified or chained together to meet your triathlon date.

Good for you to wanting to remain active! Like Yanti said, look under the training plan logs for a beginner plan that fits you. Good luck in your venture into grown up life that keeps you mentally and physically fit.
