This was my first OWS. It was quite windy and I had a very difficult time breathing. I did the breast stroke for almost the entire swim. It was disappointing, but I let it go and made a note that I MUST practice open water swims for the next 10 weeks.

I couldn't get my left foot clipped in and I rode off the course. I recovered and headed off on my way!

Course: This was a beautiful course. We headed S directly into 15+ mph winds for the first 2 miles, uphill. Overall it was enjoyable and I loved every second of being out there on the road.
