So did everyone get a chip in their packet? They told me at packet pickup that we get the chips when we get their in the morning. Went through everything again and no chip. What does it look like?

I had a smaller white envelope inside the larger Tri Tats envelope.  The smaller envelope had "MTEC Results" addressed on it (clearly a return envelope if you forgot to give the chip back at the race) and a sticker on it with a race code and my bib number.  The chip was on a blue elastic ankle band.  I have a really low number, so maybe they didn't get them all packed before pickup today?

I never got mine... I am #827 aka the worst transition spot, and I also picked it up at exactly noon on Friday, right when they started handing packets out.

They said Fri packet pick up people didn't have the chip in it but if you went to the information meeting you could get them today other wise go to the green/white striped tent tomorrow and get it. Im 829!!! Any one have ? I have an answer from the meeting today. So far I would say best organized event that I have done so far. I don't like the grade for transition and the grade for dismount and mount but other than that can't complain!

Good job to everyone who raced today. Wish I could have been there. Looks like there were some fast times and great results.

I love Ross Freese.  Shows his face every two to three years, crushes everyone's dreams, then goes back into hiding.  When will he strike again?

yeah, jeesh.  He passed me on the swim about halfway through and I rode his wake for about 200 meters, then he was gone.  I thought I would at least catch a glimpse of him on the bike before he cleared the dam . . . but not a chance.  Dude is an animal at 49.  24.6 mph on the bike and 6:33/mi on the run.  Wow.  Something to shoot for.

Great to meet you today Jayhox, plus got to see Ryan. One day I'll have some results worth posting up. Lol. I was glad I dropped down today actually. I wouldn't have enjoyed the long course much. I ran into a bike shoe malfunction on T1, those shoes are going away for real. Fun course, decent weather, probably the best water you'll see all year, and it seemed reasonably well put together. Good stuff. Friggin iPad formatting is making me mad. Sorry

I was feeling pretty good about averaging nearly 22 mph for two laps until I saw all those 23-24 mph averages for FOUR laps.  Yeah, that Freese guy was moving.

I thought going 5 deep in AG with those trophies was cool.

Being this is my third Tri this season. I did pretty good. Defiantly the best ran event I have done so far this year. Looking forward to my last of the year Jackson County Tri!

I was feeling good averaging 18+, imagine my dismay. Lol. Great job Reece!

I think this is me being chased down by the eventual overall winner:

I must have been thinking about the "dam hill" . . . or something equally terrifying:

Goodness, couldn't you have found a less flattering picture of me?  Laughing

My wife said she was stealing the "Team Neon" theme too, she just needed to find a different color!

P.S. Anyone know how to get chain grease out of a kit? Or, what I can wash it in to get it white again?
