Pre-race routine:

Unsure how to prepare for 1.30pm start. Ate oatmeal in am, had grilled chicken and bean salad plus diet Pepsi after setting up transition. Then had half p and j plus seltzer while waiting or the swim

Had to top twice because cadence sensor magnet was rubbing, despite adjusting it in transition before the race!

Bike corse was beautiful with rolling hills, ot as steep as black bear or Philly, but challenging
