Pre-race routine:

Got up at 4:00 ate a bagel and some sunflower seeds. Drank some water before swim start
Event warmup:

No swim warm up allowed beforehand, got about 4 minutes to swim.

Comments:

The water was really warm. My teamate and I basically stayed together the whole time taking turns drafting. Didn't plan it but it worked out. I ended up pulling the last 400m which wasn't wonderful because then he cruised by me in T1
What would you do differently?:

Train more, I had an elbow and shoulder injury that has severely limited my swim training.

Felt very strong on the bike. I probably could have pushed harder on the first half, but overall happy with my time.

Comments:

Even with the new inhaler the firt mile of the run I had breathing problems. Walked a bit at the aid station, got my breathing under control, and then I was fine afterwords. Significantly better than with the old inhaler.
