Comments:

Got myself up towards the front of the corral for the start. No issues there. About a half mile in my quads felt real heavy. I wondered if it was a result of biking to the race, or running a race 2 days earlier. I hit the first mile marker and I was under 7 minutes. Guess that's why I felt a little heavy. Dropped back to my planned 7:30 pace for mile 2, and maintained that for the rest of the race.
What would you do differently?:

Don't go out too fast. I want to run negative splits.
