It's going.  How was the weekend?  Things go well on all fronts?

Oh, interesting story...

The wife was in the service area at Tao between shifts and was laughing at a joke.  She has a very LOUD laugh and it seems that people like it (or just say so because it hard to miss).

ANYWAY, Bono of U2 hears it, comes around the corner and says something about how great the laugh was and they talk a bit.  As a huge U2 fan back in the day, I thought that was pretty cool...

Oh, and the whole indecent proposal thing?  I would take the million.  But bono can afford way more, so I would make it 2.

Basicly. But overall a great weekend if you take away the heat.  How is the weather over in Vegas?

Hey, I have a sort of serious question.

How crazy is it to just sort of give up on everything and just simplify and follow a dream?  Is there an age limit?

I guess I had a thought, to pick up and move to Cali.  I mean, I have a decent start on my retirement funds that I could tap into to get us buy for a couple years even if I don't have a job at all.  Is it stupid to do that to just be happy?

I'm SO tired of Vegas but it's hard to find work here OR California, so I could go just do...  Something and live on retirement.  I just have to figure out what the "something" is.  Then the wife can persue her dream better.  I can work in a bike shop or something.

I have never been that reckless, but there seems to be something fun and exciting about it.  Just packing up and going.  I would keep the vegas house and rent it out.  I don't want to lose THAT investment.

It isn't crazy at all.  In fact, I think about that as well (although it isn't a move to Cali).  But, I'm not nearly that adventurous, so I know for me, it will always be just a pipe dream.  

But, if you can afford to do it--go for it!!  Do it for all of us that dream of doing it.
