Subject: Ironman and Half Ironman Distance ?
If I were to swim the Ironman or Half Ironman distance in a 25 meter per lap how many laps for each distance would I have to swim. and What is the cut off time for the Swim.Bike, Run for those distances?

ironman swim is around 169 lengths (25m)

 

here's cutoffs from the race guide of IM Wisconsin

Swim Cut-Off: Officially closes at 9:20 a.m. Two hours
and twenty minutes after swim start


Bike Cut-Off: The mid-point bike cut-off to start the
second loop is 1:30 p.m. at Whalen Rd and Old PB. The
bike course officially closes at 5:30 p.m. Any athlete
still on the bike after this time will receive a DNF and
removed from the race.


Run Cut-off: The mid-point run cut-off is 9:30 p.m.
at the run turnaround on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
The second run cut-off is 10:30 p.m. at the turnaround
on State St. at Gorham. The run course officially closes
at 12:00 a.m. Any athlete still on the run after this
time will be considered DNF

 

race cutoffs from IM Florida


Swim Cut-off: 9:20 a.m. Two hours and twenty
minutes after the start. There will be additional swim
cut-off at the start of the second lap at 8:15 a.m. Any
athlete who has not crossed the timing mat at the swim
exit by 9:20 a.m. will not be permitted to continue in
the race. Athletes must be out of transition by 9:35
a.m.

Bike Cut-off: The bike course will close at 5:30 p.m.

There will be additional bike course cut-offs at mile
88 at 3:45 p.m. and at mile 96 at 4:15 p.m. Athletes
arriving at the bike dismount line after 5:30 p.m. will
not be permitted to continue.


Run Cut-off: The run course will close at midnight.
There is a cut-off at the run turnaround at mile 13 at 9
p.m. There is a second cut-off at mile 19 at 10 p.m. The
run course will officially close at midnight.

1 mile = 1760 yards

2.4 miles = 4224 yards = 84.48 laps (2 lengths per lap in a 25yd pool)
If you want to swim back to the end of the pool at which you began, you'll go  2.414 miles.

1.2 miles = 2112 yards = 42.24 laps (2 lengths per lap in a 25yd pool)
For this workout, you should request your pool to blast Rush tunes for the duration. I purposely did not use the sarcasm font.

Multiply by .9144 for total yards. But then you don't get the cool Rush omen.
