I forgot to pack shoes this morning. I only had the sandals that I wore so I could make a quick transition into my bike shoes. Realized this as I put my suit & tie on to walk 10 blocks in NYC. Actually had fun seeing peoples reactions as I passed them. Better than last time when I only had filp flops and I got blister Fortunate too, that I made it into my office w/o anyone here noticing.

So now you are sitting at your desk in a suit and tie with your sandals?  That's excellent!  Do you risk any problems at work if/when you are found out?

Worst I've done is forget dress socks, had to go through the day with suit, black dress shoes, and white anklet socks. Would have been less noticeable if I would have gone sockless.

I've occasionally forgotten to bring heels with me, so I'll be in a suit with running shoes. Doh! Luckily I work across the street from Nordstroms -- an expensive yet immediate way to solve the problem (of course, they don't open till 10, so... thats an awkward few hours).

Embarassed my kids yesterday by wearing my bike stuff at the pool...brought it in for the transition.  Had my white sock on with my swim trunks.  Hey...I'm 40+...isn't a part of my job description embarassing my kids?

For some reason, shoes and socks have not been a problem. Now underwear...that's been forgotten on many occasions. I'm still not completely comfortable with "going commando", but as Kramer says on the subject, "I'm out there Jerry, and I'M LOVIN' IT!!!!"

Once, I actually put underwear on. That was weird.

Why would you do that? Maybe its something people do where you live. Customs are different everywhere you go.

I think I've forgotten everything at least once or twice. Usually it's a belt or a t-shirt.

I hate to say this because I'm sure it's a sign of senility but I occasionally forget my clothes. Yes my work pants and shirt are sometimes left hanging on my closet door at home yet I have my drawls, dress socks, t-shirt, belt and nice shoes in the bag. I just leave the gym a little early and go home and shower and dress there.

The worst, though, is forgetting socks. Because then you have to wear the sweaty gym socks you just took off. I always feel like I need to disinfect my feet after changing.

I wasn't trying to impress jessi (it just worked out that way). It was more of a "look how stupid I can be, " ala kim.

LMAO! In your dreams can you ever be as stupid as me.

BUT, I wouldn't be caught dead with my feet dressed in such a manner. So you're going to have to try harder if you wanna be stupid like me, buddy.

Beauty of being a "Barely B"....I can get away with forgetting my bra and it just doesn't matter.
