I was volunteering there - how did you like the race?

I was surprised to hear only 186 people were registered (and only 130 a week before the race). The race has sold out the past 3 or 4 years, capping at 300 participants.

The RD thinks it's because it fell on the back end of July 4th week - I hope that's the only reason. It's a top-notch race put on by top-notch people!

I procrastinated registering because I wasn't sure which distance to sign up for, and then missed the cut off -- vacation got in the way, and I was out of town.

I would still like to try to make it next year.
