I had mine applied by my chiropractor who was certified to apply the stuff. I would have pain and swelling in my left knee after my weekend long runs during my marathon training and soccer games. He'd wrap my knee on Friday. I'd do my long run and play in it. I didn't have the pain and swelling come Monday like I did before using the stuff.

I did that for a month while the muscles around my knee strengthened up. Didn't need it anymore after that and was able to keep training and run the marathon incident, pain free.

Won't stick to my knee. Pt has tried shaving, spraying and different tapes and I simply sweat the stuff off in minutes

I've used it a few times. My PT used it on my shoulder when I had bursitis a couple of years ago and it worked really well- even was able to swim with it on.
I've also applied it myself when I've had soreness in my calf/achilles and it's helped. Treating the area with rubbing alcohol before you apply it helps a lot.

I've used to to help with my runner's knee.  I picked up a schwaggle a while back for the "Pro" version of the tape and it held up through showers and swims for about a week.  I also used it for a race and it held up fine.

I used the videos off youtube to learn to apply it.  It was pretty easy to do and really helped with the knee.

It's been helping with my achilles/PF problem, so I'd say I'm a fan.

Definitely get the Pro version; it does last a bit longer.

Did they clean the area pre-application with alcohol?

I've applied it for my husband for several races, and it's been great.  I found that the key was the friction/heat after you put it on that helped keep it in place.

I try to apply it for him the night before the race, but found ourselves one morning before standing in line at the port a johns and he states "I forgot my tape!"  Needless to say I raced back and applied it with no problems while we were in line.

We have had good results with it.

I had trouble with it sticking until I started making sure the area of application was really clean.  I usually put it on after I take bath/shower and then clean with alcohol.  The absolute best time to put it on is after you get out of the pool.  I just buy the plain KT tape at wal-mart and it stays on between 5-7 days.

I used it for PF.  It stayed on well during the day and would last through a quick shower, but it would not last in the pool.  After 2-3 laps it was dangling off my foot and I had to just pull it off.

I bought some from Dick's Sporting Goods and had major problems with it sticking. I just ordered some of the new 'pro' line and I must say it is AWESOME. I apply it myself-their website has really good information on application techniques.

I've used it for IT band issues, a sore ankle, and PF. It got me thru several races or long training runs pain free.

I've used it for runner's knee and ITB.  I really like it.  I haven't had any problems with it sticking, but I had the guys from KT Tape apply it for me at a race, so I got to see how they do it.  The key is a lot of friction after you apply it.

I've used it before for shin splints and sprained ankles. I bought a non-pro version that stuck just fine as long as I cleaned the area and used rubbing alcohol first. I have studied anatomy and physiology and am a massage therapist, but I think it doesn't take too much to learn to do it yourself. That said, I like the stuff.

Use Rock Tape.....it sticks much better than the branded KT tape.  I think the slit in the KT tape makes it worse.  Rock Tape costs more but lasts longer.....for me.
