Is anyone doing the Evergreen Tri on Sunday?  This will be my first Tri with an OWS, my first two Tris had pool swims.  The e-maiil sent by the race director said that the water temperature in Evergreen Lake is in the low 60s, I guess that I should be okay in a full wetsuit.

I won't be there, but you should be okay in a full wetsuit with those water temps.  They are similar to temps for races in May.

I would suggest that if they let you be sure to get in and warm up in the water.  That cold water can take your breath away for a second until you get used to it, but after a few breathing cycles you should be good to go!

Good luck and enjoy!

I figure that I will be wide awake before the first 25 yards.

The water temp is much warmer than expected. This morning's readings averaged almost 68 degrees. Have a great race tomorrow!
