Well, they're up. I didn't get it (Hartford it is). Anyone with good news?

I was accepted, but I have mixed feelings about it... I'm just coming off a month break from running and have hopefully put my IBTS issues behind me. I was running about 25 mpw before my break, and am building back up real slow. I'm a bit worried that training for a fall marathon will put me back in the injury tent.

I have the option to cancel this year's entry and automatically enter 2007's race, but am going to give it some time before I make up my mind...

I made it, second year in a row! Considering what the odds were I feel extremely lucky. 3 people from our tri club made also so it will be a fun weekend. I think it will be much less stressfull to do it the second time, I made a promise to myself that if I ever got the chance to do it again I would enjoy the experience instead of being dissapointed with my time.

I don't get it!
I had a guaranteed entree because of the time I ran in the other marathon, but I see a "NO" next to my name.
Are guaranteed entries by time limited or something?
Or are those results just for lottery winners and guaranteed entrees haven't been processed yet?

I'm in! I got in through the lottery last year but decided not to do it, so I had a guaranteed entry for this year, but I forgot to sign up by the guaranteed entry deadline. So I entered the lottery instead and got in for the second year in a row! I figure this is a sign that I need to do it.

for those of you on the fence, YES DO IT!!! and yes enjoy it. I did it last year and it was just breathtaking...37,000 runners and millions in the crowd. There is nothing like it. I am not even that fast but had a blast and wish I took a camera b/c you go through all five boroughs and see every culture...the crowds will blow u away!!! and the foreigners speaking different languqages!! and then when you come down one bridge and turn the corner into Manhatten,.....I just bawled. Besides the people...the cops and firemen are standing on their trucks applauding...maybe I am biased since I am from CT and was working when the Towers went down and lost friends on that day, but I tell you it was just amazing!!! Yeah!!! have a great time!!!

Congrats all who got in! I am actually kind of relieved that I will be doing a race with less coordination fo rmy first, and there's always next year. They changed the course for the Manhattan half, so I'll probably do that. I will be volunteering at NY again, then - you get a sweet jacket, although I seem to always end up at the least scenic water stops.
