new race in welland/niagara falls?

Never heard of it, but another tri even later in the year after Lakeside? Cool!  Maybe I'll give it a tri?    

Pricing doesn't look out of line. 

A quick check on who.is and the guy's name is Ryan Landy out of Atlanta, Georgia. He's had the site up and doing this since 2007.  As for that, wouldn't mind knowing more about the event.

I'm mainly a sprint guy...but thinking about doing this as my first Oly.

That being said...anyone want to team up for this as a relay?  I am predominantly a swimmer.  would be looking for a cyclist and/or runner.

PM me if your interested.  I'll be in the area that weekend as part of a larger family weekend get away, but seriously thinking about this.  If no takers for the relay...I'll be stuck doing this solo...don't make me do this by myself...lol

Registration for ELEVEN'S 1st Canadian Triathlon is now open. This unique course begins at the Welland International Flatwater Centre next to the Welland Public Library. The bike course brings you to the Niagara region. 11's Tri Butler Service will have your run items ready for you in T2, which is located adjacent to the Niagara River. The run takes you along on a scenic route to the falls for a spectular finish. Busses will be on hand to transport athletes and spectators to and from the start.
