Finally a bit cooler here this morning, went for a 5 mile run this morning, fastest run in over a month, temp was right around 70 with a light breeze and slight overcast sky, perfect for a run its amazing how much the heat slows you down, I was 30 sec/mile faster then anything I have run in  the past 3 weeks in the heat.

Glad you are feeling a bit better TriAya

Have a good day all

Ran & swam yesterday, so "easy" day today.  About an hour of circuit training at the gym after work.

Nothing planned. Driving to Washington for race--leaving in about 15 minutes.  Latest race-day forecast is low 61, high 87, 0% chance of rain. Water 72 degrees. Will believe it when I see it. Saying prayers. If attempt #2 doesn't work out, guess I will sign up for Metaman. Yanti--still aiming for it???

Day four of our daughter's fastpitch tournament. I was about to complain of missing my bike, my running routes, my own food...but then realized I am spending quality time with my family, I have two talented, athletic, and healthy daughters, I am enjoying ballpark food without stressing about it...I have nothing to complain about! It's a beautiful life!

7:00am: Insanity Max Plyo...I've managed to consistently sweat every day we've been gone, too!

Have a great day!

GOOOOD LUCK!!! I really hope it does work out for you.

Metaman's up in the air for me. I may be swimming for a full relay. If it comes down to just doing the half by myself, a) I'm not going to be ready (that is, for it to really fit into my IM plan the way it should), and b) I'm not a fan of TriBob/Metasport and I'm just not that interested in giving them my money for something I don't *really* want to do.

Doesn't mean you shouldn't. They do put on a solid race.

5:00 am - 3 mile run.
Now I gotta figure out a route to ride home on the bike this afternoon. Probably about 20 miles, testing the new aerobars.

I had no CO2 cartriges.....ugh,  had to call for a ride....needless to say I wasnt my wifes favoride person....note to self just becasue you havent gotten a flat in a awhile always check to see if you have all the tools needed to change a flat......

I have a 3000m swim later after work which than I will be going to my LBS and get some cartriges.....geeez

Trainer. Sufferfest: AVDP. Hammered it. Can't remember my calves cramping like this before. Have to break before getting in some more aerobic level riding. Wow.

68mi bike ride with 6500ft climbing....nice in the morning when I started but by the time I was 6mi from home I was cooking...it was like riding in a furnace with the wind blowing hot air.....I had misjudged my calories and couldn't carry enough water to last me down to the bottom of my last climb. When I got down the mountain I stopped and had enough money for a bottle of ice cold lemonade and a bowl of soft serve ice cream....man I was in heaven! Those last 6mi were much more tolerable, especially as I sipped on that lemonade.
