Wife wanst to learn to swim!

I have probably spent more than what one would qualify as "affordable" on swim lessons, but a good option is Total Immersion at the YW.   She might have to cross the river and go the YW Midway, but individual lessons are the bomb.

With an individual 6-pack, it's all about HER.

In the fall, I plan to remind folks about the Genesis Aquatics program in St. Louis Park.  Not ideal in any other way, for your wife, other than price and super awesome  detailed form instruction.  She would benefit, but it would be a sacrifice due to schedule.

It's true, he should be the poster boy for changing your swim!

Funny, when I was in college I Life Guarded for the school and every once in a while I would have to guard for the ROTC programs as they had their swim instruction and testing.  I always wondered if they were trying to help or kill their recruits.  To their credit, I never had to leave my chair.

But, I have watched the TI instructor at my lifetime and they seem to have a very good method.  For someone starting out I would recommend the TI philosophy.

You are in SSP, I swim at the Grove in IGH, they have $4 admission late night, fro open swim/gym.  They also have private lessons, it might be worth a look.
