Subject: Recent flu and training volume I'm just getting over the flu after four days of feeling like death. No fever for close to two days; 24 hours was the point where the doc said I could rejoin the world. Problem is, I still have a lingering cough and I am still feeling a big energy suck. I don't wanna do ANYTHING. I just want to lie on the couch and watch tv, which is the opposite of normal for me. I don't want to lose fitness if I'm well enough to train (I know the "above the neck" rule ) but I don't want to overdo it and prolong this crap. Any words of wisdom regarding how much or little to train and how long the suckfest will last? |
